Dust Lock Inc. was formed by Delbert Dawson in Mansfield, Ohio in 1989.  He acquired a distributorship from the Golden Bear Division of Tricor Refining, LLC, mainly dealing with their dust control product Coherex.  After several years of being a distributor, he and Colin Durante, current partner, became licensed manufacturers and distributors of all Golden Bear’s road maintenance and dust control products. This partnership formed D & D Emulsions Inc. in 1992.  Remaining in Mansfield, Ohio, D & D Emulsions Inc. manufactured and distributed its products to the majority of the states east of the Mississippi River.  Through eight years of hard work and growth, D & D Emulsions Inc. was able to acquire DAI Emulsions Inc.  DAI was a similar company and had been producing their products since 1981.  Through this merger, D & D was able to acquire their line of products which included several trademarked products and one patented product.  With this merger D & D was able to bring two resources together and strive for one common goal, which is to provide our customers with an environmentally sound solution for their road maintenance or dust control problems.
